Teeth straightening clear braces- 6 Month Smile Liverpool

Some people prefer the fastest possible teeth straightening clear brace solution and so choose the fixed brace options with clear brackets and tooth coloured wires for average treatment times of only 6 months. The various brands available include six month smiles, cfast, quick straigth teeth, ICE braces. Personally at Azure Dental having used all the different systems we now exclusively use the ICE braces as they are the clearest 6 month smiles braces available meaning the brackets and wires are barely visible, as well as being the most durable. They have the advantage of also being capable of doing more extensive brace treatments as well, if someone is a particularly more complex case ensuring a conservative and predictable final result.

Teeth straightening clear braces- Invisalign

Some people prefer the most discreet solution and so choose invisalign treatment which is broken up into 3 different types of invisalign braces depending on your individual case-

i7- allows up to a maximum of 7 stages of aligners to work on moving your teeth. This is for very minor tooth movements.

Invisalign Lite- allows up to a maximum of 14 stages so is suitable for medium crowded or spaced cases.

Invisalign Full- allows unlimited numbers of aligners for the more complex cases so they can still be treated by the system. Though, if you are the type of case that looks like you will need in the region of 30 aligners or more then you should be looking more realistically at a fixed type of brace to enable much better control of the tooth movements. These types of cases if run with invisalign generally take much longer than planned and end up taking in the region of 2-3 years again instead of 1 year with ICE braces.

Invisalign Teen- is the same system as Invisalign full but has specially modified treatment aligners with wear indicators to ensure the correct compliance with the wear time required, which is so crucial with Invisalign.

Inman Aligner braces

This type of removable brace is an old style brace that has been modernised with improved materials available today. Treatment with the Inman aligner can be very quick is worn correctly with treatment being completed in as little as 6-18 weeks. It is more limited to just being able to straighten out the front teeth that show when you smile, and it does affect your speech to a degree while you get used to wearing it. Though it is removable so if you have a special event or meeting you can take it out.

Once treatment is completed before the brace is removed we bond a fixed retainer to the back of the front teeth to ensure the teeth don’t move, and then once everything has been cleaned and polished we have a removable retainer (known as an Essix retainer) manufactured to back up the fixed retainer at the front, while also keeping the position and new shape to the side teeth.

This is known as the “belt and braces” approach to retention and is crucial for the long term stability of your new smile. If you commit to retain your teeth with both types of retainer your teeth will maintain their alignment, but if not you risk your teeth moving to varying degrees depending on your individual situation and the forces in your mouth.

What our happy customers say

Implants are a very predictable treatment option. They have good long term success rates but require regular care and maintenance to ensure they remain healthy for as long as possible.

Implants are generally placed under local anaesthetic. Once numb treatment is carried out with the very minimum of discomfort.

No, your dentist will show you how to clean any hard to reach areas around the implant. But you’ll mostly clean them as you would your normal teeth.

Dental implants are designed to provide a long term solution to your gap(s). They require less frequent replacement than other solutions such as dentures or bridgework, making them an overall cost-effective solution to replace a missing tooth (teeth).
